Recipe: Witchy Finger Snacks


What you’ll want:

✔  half of cup of canned pumpkin (not pumpkin-pie combine)

✔  ¼ cup peanut butter (with no Xylitol in elements)

✔  1 egg

✔  2 to 21/2 cups complete wheat flour

✔  Strawberry or raspberry jam/jelly
(with no sugar or synthetic sweeteners added)     

✔  Unsalted peanuts

These spooky treats are a favourite at our annual Halloween occasion, and with a dog-friendly base, the canines can now howl in Halloween delight, too.


1 In a mixer or with a hand blender, mix pumpkin, peanut butter and egg.

2 Add in flour slowly. You need your combination to be easy and well-mixed. Add kind of flour to get your required consistency.

3 Take out a bit of dough and roll right into a small ½-inch ball.

4 Stretch into a protracted finger form, including dents to imitate the form of a human finger.

5 Bake at 350 levels Fahrenheit for 20 minutes or till golden brown.

6 When cookies are cool, dab on somewhat jelly to at least one finish, and prime it with half a peanut.
